Professional profile
Šárka Mošťková focuses on developmental psychology and family psychology. Fields of her research include the issues of grandparenthood (thesis on “Maturity for grandparenthood”), intergenerational relationships and foster care. Her dissertation project entitled “Grandparents as caregivers in the context of foster care” is also related to these fields. She was a member of two research teams: in 2012 for the “Biological and foster family: a view of adults brought up outside their own families” project (IGA FF_2012_003) and in 2013 for the “Dyadic satisfaction of women working in academic occupations” project (IGA FF_2013_021). Since 2014 she has been working as a guarantor of education in the non-governmental organization ISIS that helps and supports foster families. Within this organization she leads psychosocial groups of children as well. Also, since 2014, she has been working as a psychologist for the Club of Mental Health.
