Characteristics of the research field
Mission
Our mission is the development of work and organizational psychology at the Department of psychology, Philosophical Faculty, Palacký University in Olomouc. The development is realized through our research, teaching and cooperation with other Czech or foreign institutions in the academic field as well as in practice. The important part of our role consists in providing expert service to other departments of the Philosophical Faculty.
Vision
We are fulfilling our mission when:
- We realize further development of the research, which is based on inter-institutional cooperation on the national and international level.
- We strengthen the cooperation with applied field of psychology on the basic and applied research.
- We generate the new psychological diagnostic methods and enlarge the current methods.
- We raise the quality of teaching in the case of the teaching support materials and in the case of the teaching methods.
- We introduce standards for the consulting and service.
